We got to play in snow today! The local weatherman lives in our neighborhood and he made snow. It was so cool! It was the only house on the street with snow in the front yard. We couldn't stay too long, because it was SO cold. Brant wanted to make a snowball so bad, but I really couldn't help him because I was holding Brylee. He had fun, though. (Brylee did not enjoy it as much). I did manage to snap a couple of pictures before we headed home!
We had a wonderful Christmas! Brylee woke first and then Brant woke up. When I told him it was Christmas morning, he ran to the window to look for snow. He asked, "Where's the snow?". Then he looked around. Santa was good to Brant and Brylee! There was a 4-wheeler, a dinosaur race track, a laugh & learn kitchen, and much more! Brant was in awe and Brylee was more interested in the paper and bows! We enjoyed our quiet, but exciting morning. We later went to eat dinner with our family at Bryan's aunt's. We had a great Christmas! The gifts were nice, but it is important to remember the ultimate reason for this holiday - Jesus's birth!
On Christmas Eve, we spent the evening with Bryan's family at his brother, Chip's house. Brant was so ready to open gifts. Who could blame him? We ate a lot of great food and had a great time with our family!
We celebrated Christmas with my family the weekend before Christmas. We had a wonderful time. Brant got a spiderman costume which was perfect since he loves dressing up. His big gift was a "High School Musical 1" bike. It was really a Hot Wheels bike, but he assumed since there was a one on the front that that is what it was (even though he has never watched either show). Brylee received some dolls and a shake and giggle Elmo chair. Both kids loved Brylee's ball popping toy. Before we went home, we stopped by the mall to visit Santa again to finalize the kids' wishlists and get a picture of both kids in Santa's lap! It was a great Christmas!
I made our own Christmas card this year. I am pretty proud of it. They will be mailed out this week.
Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. Life has been super busy. Brant is about to turn 4. We had his birthday party last weekend. He had a Santa Claus birthday party with Addison. We had guest appearances from Santa himself and Mrs. Claus (A.K.A. - Mother Goose). It was a great party. He had loads of fun.
We have a new friend! Karlie Ann was born today (12/5). She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz and 21 inches long. She is beautiful. She has a headful of black curly hair. We have been waiting for her for a long time!
Sorry it has been a while. I have a lot of catching up to do. First, Brant had his first singing debut at church. He sang "One Way" and "Oh Happy Day". During one of the songs, he popped up and said "I beat you". The whole church erupted in laughter.
Brylee can now crawl! She is on the move. She started out slow. Now, she is on the go and going everywhere.
Brylee and Brant had their Noah's Ark party at daycare. Brant was a monkey and Brylee was Minnie Mouse. I wanted Brant to be Mickey Mouse but I couldn't find a Mickey Mouse in his size.
For Halloween, they were something different. Brant was Dash Incredible and Brylee was a fifties girl. She was dressed in a poodle skirt and pigtails. We took Brant to a few houses and then went to the church for a fall festival. He had a blast.
