I felt like I needed to give myself a record of the latest interests, sayings, and milestones with my two, since I never have time to sit and scrapbook anymore. I will begin with Brant:

1) He loves board games - he really enjoys playing with his dad 2) Scooby Doo is his favorite cartoons - we either own them or have rented them at least a 100 times. It is so bad that one day he saw the very beginning of an episode on TV and he knew exactly which one it was. Amazing - I think my parents might remember another child that did that - ME! 3)One of his favorite saying is "I was talking like a joke" when he is joking around or telling a story. 4)He LOVES for us to tell him stories, especially scary ones! 5)He talks ALL the time, (I really am not exaggerating) 6)He has learned so much this year at preschool - He counts, I know at least to 30, he writes his name and recognizes many letters and sounds, he know the planets in order, colors, shapes, etc. 7) He enjoys jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the swingset 8)He loves his family and friends - He usually says, "I love everybody I know."

On to Brylee- she is almost 14 months old

1)She says "Mama, Dada, Bant (we assume she is referring to Brant), no/nah, duck, ball, Peppy(our cat)/puppy" (she uses these interchangeably), and her favorite word, "Baby". She says this word tons of times during the day. 2)She LOVES baby dolls and real babies, too 3)She walks/runs, but will still wobble some 4)She has 4 teeth - 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom 5)She just started motioning to come here 6)She shakes her head no, when she doesn't want something 7)She sucks her thumb and holds her "baby" a little blanket 8)She will try to sing sometimes when you are singing to her 9)She is still on the bottle - I will work on this soon, but I am not in a rush 10)She loves cheerios, a fruit snacks, puffed corn, and ritz crackers. She is not a big eater, though. She won't eat it unless she is hungry or likes it. 11)She LOVES being outside. She really enjoys just walking 12)She is a little explorer; she is always digging in drawers, cabinets, bags, and purses 13)She loves books, especially those with either babies or animals, especially puppies 14)She is a happy girl with a great smile

I am very blessed to have two beautiful healthy children. I love them so much. They each have their own special personalities.

Future Star

My future star! She loves to wear these sunglasses that Brant gave her. She will bring them to us to put on her. She is too cute!

Spring is in the Air!

I love spring time, and so do my kids! They LOVE being outside as much as possible. Brant loves jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the swingset. Brylee, on the other hand, only toleratres them for a little while. She really wants to just walk everywhere SHE wants to go.

Trike-A-Thon

Brant participated in the Trike-A-Thon again this year. They get sponsers to pledge money and they ride their tricycles or bicycles. The money goes to St. Judes Hospital. It is great fun for a wonderful cause. Brant rode his "High School Musical1" bike (as he calls it). Thankfully, Bryan got to go and take pictures. Brylee enjoyed watching the participants, too!

Easter Fun

I am so late updating my blog. I am very behind. Anyway, here is my attempt to catch up. We had a lot of fun Easter weekend. We went to my parents' house on Good Friday in Meridian. On Saturday, we went to the church Easter egg hunt and later in the afternoon, we went to the Lake's Easter egg hunt. Brant and Brylee loved hunting eggs. Brylee even got into it. She was super aggressive at the lake. She intending on getting some eggs! She wanted to start before everyone else could. Brant really enjoyed playing on the jumpers at both the church and lake. That evening, Brant and I dyed Easter eggs for Sunday. Sunday, we all woke up to check out what the Easter Bunny had left them. Brant got a game, crocs, Incredible Hulk sunglasses and candy. Brylee got a baby stroller, crayola toddler markers (which I believe was not a good idea; the Easter Bunny should have payed closer attention to the age range). She also got her favorite treat - Gerber Fruit Snacks. We all got dressed and went to church. It was a great service. After church, we went to Bryan's parents for lunch. We really enjoyed visiting with his family.
