Brant's Birthday Party

We had Brant's 5th Birthday Party at Jumpin' Gs. He had a superheroes party. The kids could come dressed as superheroes. Brylee even tried to get into the action. It turned out to be a great party. The kids had so much fun and the cake was AWESOME! Layla, my sister, had a friend to do the cake. It was wonderful. It looked great and tasted great, too. Brant got so much stuff. - nothing duplicated. Brant's favorite thing was just playing with all his friends, especially those from his old school. It was like a reunion for Brant!

Christmas Open House

Brant & Brylee had their Christmas Open House at school. They sang and presented gifts to us. Brylee mostly sat and sucked her thumb. Brant got hit in the mouth with some jingle bells and chose to pout the rest of the songs. They were cute anyway!

Brant's Birthday

We ordered delicious cookies from the Cookie Mama. She did a great job. She made Spiderman & Incredible Hulk cookies. We took them to Brant's class at school. They were great!

Pirate & Princess

Brant & Brylee went to a Pirate & Princess Birthday Party. They had a lot of fun. It was a really neat party. They got to dress up. They were super cute in their outfits. They enjoyed jumping on Jumpers and making crafts. They even got to hear a story read by Snow White!

Ralphie's Back

When we returned from the Santa train, we were greeted with a surprise! Ralphie, our elf, had returned. Since then, he has made a lot of messes and got into a lot of mischief.

Santa Train

We went Saturday to a Santa Train ride outside of Birmingham. Brant & Brylee were so excited. They got to ride the train with Santa & Mrs. Claus. They even got a gift - a polar bear beanie baby. The plan was to get a good picture of Brant & Brylee with Santa and Mrs. Claus. That did not really happen. Brylee immediately began crying. Santa or Ho Ho, as she refers to him, was great from a distance, but not up close. After Santa greeted the other passengers, one of the train workers took a picture of our family with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Brylee was still unsure, but she did much better. I recommend this ride to anyone. It was a great experience!

These are the pictures from my family's Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent lunch with Bryan's family and then left for Meridian to celebrate with my family. We had a great time and ate too much!

Gobble, Gobble!

Brant was the turkey for his Thanksgiving program. For all of you who know Brant, that was a very appropriate part. He did a good job! They sang songs before their Thanksgiving feast. I was so thankful that I was allowed to leave school to go see him. Brylee was an Indian. Her class did not do a program, but I did get some shots of her eating.

Trick or Treat

We had the best time Halloween night. We went with some friend trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We ate and went on a hay ride while we trick or treated. The kids had so much fun! Brylee even enjoyed it. She loved trick or treating. She wanted to eat her "Nacks" right away!

Lots of Fun!

We went to Meridian to see my parents. On Saturday, we went to visit my Granny, Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Laurel. My aunt usually hosts us in October and my mom & dad have all of them come in the spring. They rented a jumper slide for Brant, Brylee, and their grandchild, Jesse. We had so much fun and ate TOO MUCH food. I love seeing everyone. We had a great trip!

Where the Wild Things Are

We woke up two Saturdays ago and decided it would be a perfect day to go to the zoo. We loaded up and headed to the Birmingham Zoo. It was so nice - around 70 degrees. They had everything decorated for Halloween. They both enjoyed the animals, riding the carousel, and the train. Brylee loved the monkeys. When we would leave the monkeys, she would say, "Bye, Bye, Monkey." Brant really loved the train because they took us around looking at the scary decorations. They had skeletons hanging from trees and graveyard, etc. We had a great time!

Where's My Sign?

While we were gone to Meridian this weekend, our McCain/Palin sign was missing from our yard. We didn't think anything about it. The next day while Bryan was taking the kids to school, Brant said, "Daddy, I know who took our sign." Bryan said, "Who?". Brant replies, "Rock Obama." Bryan tried not to laugh. Today, Brant said, "Daddy, did you lock the door to the house?" Bryan said, "Yes, why?" Brant said, "I don't want Rock Obama to take my money." Again, Bryan tried not to laugh. That is too funny. I guess he's worried that Obama wants to start sharing the wealth with his $15.

Field Trip

I went with Brant's preschool class back to the Country Pumpkin. He had the best time. They played, went on a hayride, and had a picnic lunch. I had a great time spending the day with my favorite little boy!
