Potty-Training Success!
I decided I would potty-train Brylee the last week of Christmas vacation. One of my friends had bought this e-book, Three-Day Potty Training, and potty-trained her little girl in actually 7 days and she was a month younger than Brylee. Brylee is 22 months old and the book says that is the perfect age. I decided to do it. The first day was AWFUL! Everytime I turned around I was cleaning up pee, ask Erika. Erika, Landry, & Isabella came over the first night of our mission. The next day was actually better. She actually pottied a couple of times. I was so proud; she even went at someone else's house. By the third day, she hardly had any accidents. Since then, she only really has accidents at night or every once in a while at naptime. She was even dry when she went to church nursery and preschool the first time! I was really nervous about that. Her teacher even asked me for the "secret" so she could get the rest of Brylee's class potty trained. I am so proud of her and I am really excited to say - NO MORE DIAPERS!!

New Years Day
We went to visit with Bryan's family on New Year's Day. His cousin and her husband, Melanie & Myron, were in town from California. She actually plays extras on TV shows and movies and he is a movie producer- pretty neat, huh? Anyway, we had a great time visiting with all of Bryan's family. Brant loves playing with Arie, Morgan, and Frazier. We ate fish and had tons of fun just catching up. Brylee kept calling Bryan's Aunt Faye's dog a lion. She was not to happy with the dog because it kept barking at her.

Christmas Again!
The day after Christmas, we went to my parents' house in Meridian. The kids got Christmas all over again. Brylee received the most beautiful hand painted rocking chair, compliments of Aunt Layla. She got twin babies with more baby doll accessories. She got DVDs, books, and a Princess tricycle. Brant got more leapster games, transformers, Ben 10 stuff, DVDs, books, etc. It took the entire back of Bryan's truck to haul back our gifts. They loved being with Mim, Pop, Aunt Layla, Uncle Eric, & Aunt Dana. We had a great time in Meridian!
Santa was so good!
We had to wake Brant & Brylee up on Christmas morning (crazy- I know). Bryan's parents came to see all their loot. Santa left Brant a Pixos, a Leapster 2 and a game, and a new portable DVD player. Brylee got a new portable DVD player too, a baby doll play set with a doll, and a puppy that barks with a little purse. From us, Brylee got the Rose Petal cottage, Princess dress up shoes, a Princess purse with makeup, cell phone, and keyless entry keys, a dollhouse bookshelf, some DVDs, sippy cups, candy, etc. Brant got his coveted Ben 10 watch (he didn't think it was here because Santa didn't leave it), he got Ben 10 action figures, DVDs, more leapster games and accessories, candy, a soccer net, Alien maker stuff for his kit, etc. I can't even remember. They both were spoiled! While we were opening gifts, Brylee kept taking stuff to her Grandaddy to "cut it" (so he could open it). It was funny. We then ate breakfast together. Brylee really did not open her gifts, she got Brant or me to open it. We played most of the morning then went over to Nana's and Grandaddy's to eat a late lunch. We had a great Christmas!
Christmas Eve
We had all Bryan's family over to our house for Christmas Eve. The kids were so excited! They got so much stuff. Brant got some neat toys, games and a real fishing rod. Brylee got a baby, a shopping cart, and a sink and washer for her Rose Petal cottage. We enjoyed spending time with everyone. After everyone left, it was so hard getting them settled down for Santa's arrival. We had to say goodbye to Ralphie, our elf. Brant got to hold him and touch him since he was returning to the North Pole. Later after hearing 2 choruses of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star", Brylee finally passed out.
